Guacamole

 
INGREDIENTS:
6 ripe avocados
1 package guacamole seasoning
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons PINES Wheat Grass Powder (OK to add more for an even bigger nutrient boost)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

METHOD:
Cut avocados in half and remove pits 
Scoop out avocado with spoon into a mixing bowl
Mash avocado with fork until no large chunks remain
Add seasoning to avocado mixture and blend with a fork
Add lime juice and water and blend 
Sprinkle PINES Wheat Grass Powder over mixture and blend 
Add 1/2 of cilantro to mixture and blend
Place guacamole in serving bowl and sprinkle the remaining cilantro on top
Serve with the chips or crackers of your choice

Yogurt Smoothie Breakfast


INGREDIENTS:
6 oz plain, low fat yogurt
6 oz 100% fruit juice (blueberry-pomegranate is a recent favorite)
21 PINES Wheat Grass tablets

METHOD:
Add the yogurt and fruit juice together in a glass. Stir. Use it to chase down the tablets. 
This simple drink when combined with the fiber and nutrients in PINES Wheat Grass, 
can carry a person through the morning. 



Detox Delight


INGREDIENTS:

1 cup Cranberry Juice

1 tbsp. Pines Wheat Grass Powder


METHOD:

Mix ingredients to add the detoxifying power of Cranberry 
Juice for a  serving of vegetables.




Chocolate Green Milk






Green Energy Shake



INGREDIENTS:

¾ cup Crushed Pineapple

¾ cup Unfiltered Apple Juice

1 small Banana

2 tbsp. Pines Wheat Grass Powder


METHOD:

Mix ingredients in blender, pour into a tall glass or goblet, and enjoy the refreshing  taste!

Other ingredients you could add for alternate textures: Fresh Lime, Crushed Ice, Fresh Crushed Mint, or just let your imagination run free! Substitute two teaspoons of PINES  Wheat Grass or Barley Grass Powders in place of Mighty Greens for a more basic  shake.




Green Energy Vinaigrette

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/2 Cups Mild Oil

½ Cup of Rice Vinegar

2 Cloves Garlic

2 tbsp. PINES Wheat Grass Powder

1 tsp. Cayenne


METHOD:

Mix or blend all ingredients. Age dressing in the refrigerator for at least 24  hours before serving. Re-blend/mix dressing just before serving, thinning  with just a bit of water if desired.

Makes 2 cups.

This recipe helps balance the acidity of an all-protein diet 
and replaces the vitamins and nutrients lost during the canning process.


INGREDIENTS:

½ tsp. of PINES Wheat Grass

½ cup of Soft, Canned Dog or Cat food.


METHOD:

Hand mix PINES Wheat Grass to your pet’s favorite soft food and serve. This recipe  also replaces the fiber that is missing in most pet’s diets.



Berry Green Smoothie

INGREDIENTS:

1 tbsp. of Pines Wheat Grass Powder

1 cup of Fruit Flavored, Organic Sorbet

METHOD:

Add Pines Wheat Grass Powder as a topping to your favorite sorbet.


Notes from the author of this recipe – “I’m not sure how many people could do that kind of thing  (adding Pines Wheat Grass Powder to sorbet), but for me it tasted really good, and I’ve repeated  the dessert topping usage since then.




Morning DO!

INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons of Flax Seed Powder

1 teaspoon of PINES Wheat Grass Powder

2 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar

2 teaspoons of Fresh Ginger (Grated)


METHOD:

Mix or Blend all ingredients and enjoy! You may also add this to Cherry Juice (as suggested) or any other juice of your choosing.





Potato Bread with PINES Wheat Grass Powder

INGREDIENTS:

1-1/4 cups Water

2-2/3 cups Flour

1-1/2 tbsp. Non-Fat Dry Milk

1-1/2 tbsp. Sugar

2 tbsp. Canola Oil (may substitute Butter or Avocado Oil)

1/3 cup Potato Flakes

1-1/2 tbsp. Dried Parsley

1-1/2 tbsp PINES Wheat Grass Powder

2 tbsp. Instant or Fast Rising Yeast


METHODS:


FOR BREAD MACHINES: (Makes 1-1/2 lb. loaf)

Combine all ingredients and select mode for white bread.


IN THE OVEN:

Prepare and bake as you would a loaf of white bread.




Salad Soup

This makes a hearty broth that serves as a full serving of vegetables for morning or anytime.


INGREDIENTS:

1 Heaping tsp. of PINES Wheat Grass Powder

2 tbsp. Coarse Oat Bran

1 squirt of Bragg Liquid Aminos Seasoning

3 cups of Boiling Water (Adjust water more or less for desired taste.)


METHOD:

Mix/Blend all ingredients and serve.




Tropical Energy Shake


INGREDIENTS:

¾ cup Crushed Pineapple with Juice (no Sugar)

¾ cup unfiltered Apple Juice

1 Ripe Banana

2 tsp. PINES Wheat Grass Powder


METHOD:

Put all ingredients into a blender and spin until well mixed. Pour and enjoy a refreshing way  to get your greens!






Green Tea


INGREDIENTS:
8 oz. glass of water
1 1/4 teaspoon Wheat Grass Powder
1 - 2 teaspoons of raw Honey

METHOD: 
Mix all together for a great refreshing tea like drink.
